As we ease out of the lockdown and return to some semblance of normal life, for some (me included!) we're still processing the carnage that's been COVID-19. This virus devastated the Black and Asian communities and left many of us feeling vulnerable and suffering...
What do you believe?
Now everyone knows weather forecasts are hit and miss, that they don’t KNOW anything for sure. The truth is on many questions, nobody really knows. Many assumptions we make on a daily basis are based on nothing more than what we see on the news, someone’s say so, or because it’s always been this way. What instead if we chose to believe things based on what we feel? If we were to stand back and observe the news, not run with it. If we took an opposite view just to see if we can truly empathise. If we tuned our own radar to reflect our beliefs? True we may run into trouble occassionally. But we would be conscious in every decision we make, be that who to love, how to love, and where to spend our precious time on earth. It might help us to live lives that better reflect who we are, and prevent a panicked visit to a high street curtain shop.
By the way, it still hasn’t snowed!
